While performing VPS migration, we got a scenario where '' shows one content and '' shows another content.

When we migrated this domain to new server, 'www' sub domain creation failed, and '' is created as server alias.

To fix this issue:

  1. Logged into new VPS after migration is done.
  2. Select domain for which subdomain 'www' has failed.
  3. Go to DNS Settings and remove  record.
  4. Execute below command
    1. /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/websrvmng --reconfigure-vhost
  5. Create www subdomain using command
  6. /usr/local/psa/bin/subdomain --create www -domain -www-root /subdomains/www/httpdocs
  7. Again '' A record will be created in DNS Settings. Need to remove A record of ''.
  8. Execute command /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/websrvmng --reconfigure-vhost
  9. Enable php support for 'www' subdomain
  10. Copy contents of 'www' subdomain from source vps into new VPS.

After these steps, '' and '' shows two different contents.
